For Artist Solves Problems I decided to paint a picture of snowy mountains over a sunset. The problem I was solving with this project was to mix paint and paint with only my finger, which would be limited materials. Some obstacles I had to over come was how difficult it was to blend out the sunset with fingers. Also, having to mix the paint was proven to be a struggle because it got very messy and sometimes leftover colors on my hands would mix into another.
I Developed My Art Making Skills
I developed my art making skills because I learned how to mix colors more efficiently and effectively. Having to use my hands to mix colors made me think more about the colors I was using and how to mix them to make the exact color I wanted. I also learned how to create texture and a scenery image while making this artwork. I realized that I could use my finger to create the mountain texture. I know this can help me in the future because I will be able to showcase the reality of an image.
