I Create Original Art-
In my work I used my own unique ideas in my artwork in multiple ways. One of the main ways however, was how I added 6-7-ish different lollipops pointed in different directions which added to the way the image is portrayed and how it is viewed. Another way is that I decided to use different styles of pen shading on my artwork, having some lollipops have cross hatching and some have stippling. I took inspiration from a photo I took a long time ago of just a random lollipop that my sister had given me, and I enlarged it and switched it around to make it my own.
I Take Risks-
In my artwork I took the risk and tried something that I knew would be difficult and challenging. This risk was using pen, and more in depth into the risk is stippling. We had just learned stippling and had very little practice, but I decided that to get the 'rainbow look' using pen would show a much bigger difference between the shades. In the middle of the project i got very hesitant on weather or not I should have chosen pen because I kept on messing up, but overall I am glad I chose it because it ended up looking pretty good and I got much better at understanding how to shade with pen.
